How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?

BBC One is climbing every mountain with a brand new entertainment series.

We are searching for undiscovered talent to play Maria Von Trapp in Andrew Lloyd Webber and David Ian’s West End production of
The Sound of Music.

The BBC will be hosting open auditions across the UK and our short-listed Marias will go on to feature in an exciting new Saturday night series hosted by Graham Norton.

Could you be the Maria that Graham and the team are looking for?

Can you sing, act and dance?

Can you convincingly play a girl aged between 17 and 25?

If you’ve had no formal training, don’t worry - this opportunity of a lifetime is open to everyone!

All you have to do is download a copy of our application form, and the accompanying fact-sheet, and you could become the newest star in theatre land.

Auditions will take place on the following dates:

Edinburgh - Radisson SAS Hotel (note that these dates are new)
Thursday 4th May: 12pm - 8pm
Friday 5th May: 10am - 6pm

Manchester - Freemasons Hall, 36 Bridge Street, Manchester, M3 3BT
Saturday 6th May: 11am - 7pm
Sunday 7th May: 9am - 5.30pm

London - Wembley Conference Centre
Friday 12th May: 9.30am - 5.30pm
Saturday 13th May: 9.30am - 5.30pm
Sunday 14th May: 9.30am - 5.30pm
