Atlantic Rowing Race.

Postby The_Boss » Tue Jan 17, 2006 10:21 am

Has anyone been keeping an eye on how Ben Fogle and James Cracknell have been fairing in the 2 men in a boat race across the Atlantic?

Well it seems against the odds that they are likely to win the pairs race finally arriving tomorrow / thurs.

Just had a look at their progress and they have just 75 miles to row.

They are about 120 miles ahead of the next doubles boat and are racing against a fours for second place overall.

Well done them both!!

James and Ben came third overall and first in the pairs.

WELL DONE!!!

Apparently we get a mini series of programmes next week, in the mornings, of the trip.

I am so miffed that the BBC has not mentioned the reason they rowed the race on breakfast TV this morning. They rowed it for Children in Need.
