Well a third series is well underway being filmed. However this year it is not going to be shown straight away. This should improve the programme no doubt as there will be more time available in the cutting room.
I am surprised we have not had many visits of late it must mean the pupils are enjoying their summer break this year.
I am sure that the Kings Pupils are on tenterhooks at present waiting for their A level results due shortly. And likewise for those Hope Green pupils awaitng their AS level results for those that took them.
I wish you all good luck!!!

Students awaiting A-level examination results are turning to drink to relieve the stress, according to a report. A University of Hertfordshire report found one in 10 parents believe their stressed-out children drink more.
The teenagers suffer anxiety, disturbed sleep, mood swings and loss of self-esteem between the exams and their grades, the research found.
The whole family is affected with 25% of mothers and 16% of fathers admitting stress ahead of the exam results.
Well I hope that everyone gets the grades they want .... However if they do not manage their ultimate desires there are so many other options out there.
So in these last few hours of waiting try and relax.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL

Thanks for the best wishes. The description of stressed teenagers sounds like me atm, but i'm having to work instead of drink. A highly depressing alternative. Just give me the results and let me get on with it!

The results are out and a mixture of outcomes. From the very excellent paper headline ones to the slight disappointments.
Let it be said on here that there maybe many more passing A levels but look at the breakdown of the pass grades for the individual subjects and you will see that the split is fairly even between the different grades .
For example in English 20.7% of those taking the exam got an A grade, 24.5% a B grade, 27.4% a C grade and 19.1% a D grade with 6.9% an E and 1.4% a U
Therefore out of the 85,858 taking the exam only 17,772 achieved an A grade.
I also know that the pupils from Kings worked very hard for their results.
I have not heard how the HG64 pupils have done at all !!
Congratulations to you all as Young Mr. Grace would say ....
You've all done very well!!
