The Bardsleys - once unceremoniously dubbed 'Britain's laziest couple' by the tabloids - are attempting to prove their critics wrong in their ultimate challenge. For two weeks only the undisputed stars of Wife Swap are going to try their hand at running a fully functional seaside bed and breakfast. Set in Blackpool during the famous illuminations holiday season, the Bardsleys will contend with taking on all the hard graft involved in the hotel trade, including preparing endless breakfasts and managing the daily marathon of bed making. It will be no easy task as Lizzy and Mark try to keep cool under professional pressure. From the merry celebrations of a stag weekend to breakfast for 50 noisy guests and the intimacy of a romancing couple, the Bardsleys will have to cater for all their visitors' needs - even those with the most individual of tastes. Bed & Bardsleys' will also feature some surprise guests and familiar faces, all of them primed and ready for the Bardsley experience. Will Mark and Lizzy become the new Basil and Sybil Fawlty, and will they last the distance? Will they find an inner determination for tough labour, or abandon the work ethic completely? One thing's for sure, it's not going to be a walk on the beach for the Bardsleys!
