Then on Tuesday there is a double bill of LOST to kick of the new series. In the first episode the remaining survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 continue the struggle to break free from the clutches of the deserted island. Jack's (Matthew Fox) mistrust of Locke (Terry O'Quinn) grows, as he continues to question his motives and obsession in uncovering the secrets of the mysterious hatch.
After the hatch blows, Jack manages to get everyone to return to camp with him. But Locke can't wait any longer, returning to the hatch that night with Kate (Evangeline Lilly).
Jack decides to follow Locke and Kate and finds himself in the middle of a most bizarre stand-off... Meanwhile, Shannon (Maggie Grace) goes out into the jungle looking for Walt's (Malcolm David Kelley) dog.
In the second episode after their raft was blown out of the water by "The Others", Sawyer (Josh Holloway), manages to pull an unconscious Michael (Harold Perrineau) from the water and revives him with mouth to mouth.
However, Walt (Malcolm David Kelley) has been taken and Jin (Daniel Dae Kim) has disappeared into the sea, while Michael's bleeding wound has attracted a killer shark who starts circling the survivors' flimsy raft.
Back on the island, Claire (Emilie de Ravin) finds a statue of the Virgin Mary in Charlie's (Dominic Monaghan) things, but doesn't realise what's hidden inside, and Locke (Terry O'Quinn) enters the hatch to find Kate (Evangeline Lilly ) unconscious.
